Dromen aan Zee started with the purchase and renovation of the Harlingen Lighthouse; an initiative of the cultural entrepreneur who is still the owner. Already in the third month after the opening of the lighthouse in its new function, the lighthouse reached an occupancy rate of 100 percent. In the years that followed, the Harlingen Lifeboat and Harbor Crane were added. The lifeboat was recently taken out of service after 23 years of faithful duty. Today, the remaining big boys have two 'sisters': Wachter and Ahoy. The management of the four historical objects is in the hands of Hilda and Patrick Uphoff and their team.
In Harlingen, you can find countless nice restaurants. In all price ranges and with various culinary traditions. Restaurant ’t Havenmantsje holds a special place. This is not only due to the beautiful building and the lovely location by the harbor. It is also and especially the merit of owner and master chef Marco Poldervaart.
Dromen aan Zee offers two packages in collaboration with ’t Havenmantsje, which can be booked in combination with any of our accommodations. Poldervaart and his team will surprise you with an excellent dinner of products from the Frisian hinterland and the Wadden Sea.
For a 5-course dinner for two people, you pay 150 euros on top of the overnight price.

If the costs for the hotel stay are higher than the value of the gift card, your guests will pay the remaining amount.
After filling in and submitting the form*, you will receive a voucher in PDF format and an invoice by email within two working days. Your guests can book their overnight stay themselves via our website. You can provide the text for the gift card in any language, and we will ensure that the entire voucher is offered in that language.
